First off!
Here are some albums I have been into.
Agoraphobic Nosebleed's newest record: Agorapocalypse. I've been into this band for a long time, but their past releases were a bit lacking. All violence, and no substance. With this record, these grind monsters really hit their stride, bridging out a little and incorporating slower tempos and more structured slabs of vicious power.
Check it out if you're into bands like Pig Destroyer, Weekend Nachos, or the Locust.
Bars of Gold! I loved the absolute hell out of now defunct Michigan band, Bearvsshark. When they broke up, I was way bummed. But now a couple of them are back with a new effort. It's no BVS, but it's still pretty wonderful. Sometimes mellow, sometimes spastic, always entertaining and memorable.
Check it out if you're into BVS, Cursive, or At the Drive In.
