New Years

Last night was our first NYE in Kentucky, and let me start off by saying it was a sober New Years, so no crazy stories are about to unfold here. BUT, we did get to go see Lemuria, one of my most fav bands ever, so it made up for it totally.

This band was pretty sweet. Black God from Louisville. 

This picture doesn't do much to represent it, but this band was super on target.  We read that it was their first show, and they definitely made an impression.  I kind of see them as a mix of Coliseum and the Bronx, maybe?  Heavy heavy jams with a fun rock and roll feel.

Lemuria. Solid jamz. 

Lemuria played awesome, as usual. New bass player was sweet. Alex is still the nicest on the planet still and the most bad ass of all drummers.  If you're interested in the whole drumming thing, definitely check out some live Lemuria footage on YouTube.  

We rang in the New Year on Interstate 64 in Jeremy's Jeep, and since the three cell phones in the car all had slightly different times, we rang that bastard in three times.

All in all, ok night. Got home, ate popcorn, watched Hannibal.  Not that good a movie.  Oh, well.
